Rochester Refugee Resettlement Services accepts financial contributions as well as donations of couches, tables, chairs, and other household items that are in good condition. Somali Community Outreach & Education Center, Inc.

SCOEC has achieved much in two years. Though the vast majority of program recipients are Somalis, there are a number of other refugee and immigrant groups that benefit from SCOEC’s services including refugees from Burundi, Burma, Iraq and Afghanistan. SCOEC provides services through the following programs:

  • After School program
  • Youth and Sport program
  • Housing Assistance
  • Child Care and Parental Education
  • Transportation
  • Counseling and Case management
  • Cultural Orientation
  • Citizenship
